- Hubbs Seaworld Coconut Point Research Facility, South Melbourne Beach

In response to an urgent need for expanded research facilities within the Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge to support a range of research and conservation initiatives on the Barrier Island and Indian River Lagoon, Hubbs-SeaWorld Research Institute began renovations of its Coconut Point property. The renovated facility will act as a field station for sea turtle research as well as a base of operations for HSWRI's stranded animal rescue and research program.
The field station will contain laboratory space as well as offices for ten staff members and housing for existing researchers. Its vessel dock is already in use to support studies of free-ranging animals within the Indian River Lagoon. With federal and state funding support, HSWRI will complete renovations of the Coconut Point field research station in 2008. |

- Rennovation of the City of Altamonte Springs Building/Fire Safety Annex

Division Function and Responsibilities
The Building/Fire Safety Division is responsible for conformance to the Florida Building Code and Florida Fire Prevention Code for all new construction and existing commercial businesses within the City of Altamonte Springs. The Building/Fire Safety Division serves as an efficient "one-stop" shop for the customer. Permitting, plans review, and all inspection services are handled from one location. Inspectors are certified and licensed in multi-disciplines allowing the inspection staff to more effectively perform both building trade and fire inspection services. Additional essential services involve code development and compliance; quality assurance inspections of fire sprinkler systems; cause and origin fire investigations; and maintenance inspections of existing occupancies. |
- Water Retrofit at Florida Tech

Michael Angelo Plumbing has recently completed a water retrofit project on the campus of Florida Tech in Melbourne, FL. The project included installation of low flow toilets, shower heads, aerators, and sensored faucets.
